- Tele-Medicine is revolutionizing both access, and patient satisfaction. While you may be a bit apprehensive at first, we encourage you to consider tele-psychiatry as an alternative to fighting local traffic, juggling work and home obligations, etc. People generally love it - we have studies to prove it!

Alexander Adelsberger, D.O.
Meet The Psychiatrist
Dr. Adelsberger received his undergraduate degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a focus in spanish literature and language.
Upon returning to his undergraduate program to pursue medicine, he decided upon osteopathic medicine for his medical school training in large part due to the 'mind, body and spirit' approach to treatment touted by the uniquely American medical tradition ("D.O. Difference.") He graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia campus, and was awarded by the American Osteopathic Foundation the Russel C. McCaughan Scholarship for recognition of exemplifying excellence in the holistic medical paradigm. (P.C.O.M.)
With an expressed interest in working with trauma and serving our veteran population, Dr. Adelsberger pursued his formal adult psychiatry training at Harvard South Shore Psychiatry Residency Program. (Harvard Psychiatry Residency)
Upon completion of his general training, he pursued and completed a specialization in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. (C.H.O.P. Behavioral Health)
C.H.O.P. is consistently ranked one of the best of the best children's programs in the country, and arguably in the world. Dr. Adelsberger was extremely grateful to work and train for years at both of these excellent centers of learning. (US News & World Report)
